Required Affordable Licensing
You do not need to buy a license to purchase or listen to GMRS radio. In order to transmit on the radio a
$35 GMRS license (valid for 10 years) covers your whole family, even across states. No test required.
Custom Programming
Radios tailored to your specific needs and repeaters in Florida. Without a repeater, range is 2–3 miles; with one, it extends significantly. Your custom plan will cover family members, even the ones not living with you. It will give you the details on exactly to do (call) in any emergency. (Radio transmissions are also refered to as call) Instructions and emergency plans included for seamless operation.
